I received an MSW (Master of Social Work) from the University

of Maryland and am licensed to practice psychotherapy in

Maryland; I have been practicing for over 15 years.

 

On-going education and training is the cornerstone of a good

psychotherapist and must continue throughout his or her

career; I am a graduate of a two-year post-graduate training

program at the Washington School of Psychiatry and have

completed the course work for a doctorate from Smith College. 

 

I chair the Child and Adolescent Psychotherapy Training Program at the Washington School of Psychiatry. Chairing and teaching in this program affords me the opportunity to help educate new therapists and is also a wonderful opportunity to continue my own learning through teaching.
